London duo Temptress have released a new video for 'Guilty Pleasure', and dim lighting and debauchery have never looked so good.

Dim lighting and debauchery have never looked so good. South-East London duo TEMPTRESS have released a sultry new music video to accompany their electro-pop track ‘Guilty Pleasure’.

Fluidly layering male and female vocals, there is a soft sense of completeness to the track. The song itself balances solid production with mischievous lyrics and sultry vocals, and the accompanying video is a complete testament to this.

The childlike wonderment of scrabble pieces and gold fish are contrasted by sneaky backrubs and naked dolls. Flashes of mannequin heads and retro radios are striking, adding to the music video’s immersive aesthetic.

The touches of naughtiness mirror the tune’s sizzling lyrics. Both members of Temptress put on a mystifying performance. They peer wide-eyed into the camera as they effortless sing along. The sex appeal of the vocalists is toned down by their youthful appearances.

Navigating their way through streamers and discarded rooms, the clip gleams with fluorescent club lights and trembling bulbs.

‘Guilty Pleasure’ is a new approach to pop music, and the encapsulating video clip invites you to eagerly follow the pair on their experimental path.
