Billy Davis make waves with funky single 'No Longer Lovers'

As this year draws closer to ending, BILLY DAVIS are showing no signs of slowing down. The Melbourne neo-soul band have just announced their signing to Good Manners Records, and are now ready to share their newest single, 'No Longer Lovers'.

Of the track, the brains of Billy Davis, William Rimington, said, 'Our last album told the story of a breakup of some people I knew, the stages of it to the eventual end of the relationship. I guess 'No Longer Lovers' is a follow up and a final goodbye to the person on the other end of Bad Endings, and a new beginning as well. It's also special as it was the first track I wrote with Blasko who sings on the track and is now a huge part of the band.'

If you don't already know, Billy Davis is a band that can feature up to 11 artists when performing live, so you can expect a diverse range of colourful sounds. 'No Longer Lovers' is no exception, with groovy tones, soothing R&B vocals, and an a vibrant beat. The catchy hook gives 'No Longer Lovers' this 70's soul feel, yet Billy Davis still keep their sound refreshing and modern. Take a listen below:
