Live Review: PREMIERE: Fall in love with James Hersey's 'Miss You' Video

James Hersey’s latest single ‘Miss You’ dropped a couple of months ago and has quickly gained over 17.5 million streams on Spotify but there’s no shock there considering the artist is apart of Glassnote Records which consists of the likes of Childish Gambino, Flight Facilities, CHVRCHES … the list goes on. So with such a star-studded list of label mates its no wonder Hersey is killing the electronic game. And now following the finger clickin’ ‘Miss You’ track Hersey has just dropped an accompanying video! Yay!

The video is as relaxing as the track itself, filled with a blue aesthetic and a longing for the brunette beauty that sits alongside him. As the paint drips from the screen and kaleidoscopes images warp throughout the duration of the video, it creates a foot tapping sense of serenity. The simplicity that generates the images is a perfect accompaniment to the gentle electronic track that Hersey has created. After watching the video, you’ll simultaneously hope that Hersey finds his love and that you find your own.

Hersey’s currently touring around Europe showcasing his electronic style to the world but we hope during this he still has time to give us a few more tracks, because we’re longing for more of his angelic electronic style.
