Live Review: MARIBELLE emerges as a fully-formed popstar in "SHOUT" video

MARIBELLE introduces herself to us in her first 90's synth-pop vid for lead single, 'Shout'.

MARIBELLE introduces herself to us in her first 90s-inspired synth-pop vid for her latest single, 'Shout'.

Impressive on all fronts, MARIBELLE is a triple threat in singing, songwriting and producing and has recently created her own record label, Crush Club Records. Releasing her debut EP, Overtake on September 2nd via her label, Maribelle has now teamed up with director Grey Ghost for her first music vid. Known for his work with well-known artists such as Troye Sivan, it's most definitely a sure thing that the video would be killer.

A throwback to full studio sets, fluorescent colours and animation, bomber jackets and my own favourite, high waisted shorts, the video has the 90's written all over it. Maribelle's pop-soul vocals combine beautifully with her warmer, softer tones in forming a dynamic piece in all retrospects. Indulge in the stylistic vid here!

A force to be reckoned with already, the artist can now add 'dancer' to her ever-increasing list of talents. The girl who had never danced in her life (who would know) destroys those moves in 'Shout'.

If you're loving what you've heard, then luckily for you she'll be busy touring with Kaytranada starting from October. Check her out!
