Live Review: AIR MAX '97 is fearless in the release of 'Face Up'

Fearless on the decks and in the studio, AIR MAX '97 has dropped his latest single, 'Face Up'.

The Melbourne DJ/producer has made quite the name for himself, and that's only set to get bigger and better with this latest release. Teaming up with NLV Records who are known for supporting forward thinking, diverse club music artists, Air Max '97 takes forward thinking to the next level with his eclectic experimentation and soundscapes.

'Face Up' is a monstrous track consumed by intricate rhythms and complex layering. A work of almost 6 minutes, the track is mysterious in its instrumentation and makes for compelling listening. Don't just listen to it once, or even twice. Seriously put this piece on repeat as there's always more cool elements to be discovered with each listen.
