Live Review: Elohim releases unique track 'Hallucinating'

16 September 2016 | 9:10 am | Julia Insolia

Featuring bright horns, a strings section and beautiful vocals, Elohim delves even further into experimental electronica with "Hallucinating"

Los Angeles artist ELOHIM has released her newest track "Hallucinating", combining an array of sounds to create a truly unique song. "Hallucinating" showcases this young artist's vocal abilities whilst providing a bouncy, happy experimental track.

Elohim's beautiful vocals is one of the first things you hear in "Hallucinating", followed by a funky melody, but what really gets me is the bright horns and strings that come in after the hook. This track is really something different, blurring the lines of genre, much like the sounds of The Avalanches. Judge for yourself below:

The mystery that is Elohim continues as she continues to both make experimental sounds and hide her identity. You can take a listen to her latest self-titled EP on iTunes and Spotify respectively, or take a listen to more of her work on Soundcloud here.
