Live Review: Midas.Gold works it out on smooth new single

Midas.Gold is Australia's answer to the southern US trap rapper and he's just come out with another banger 'Work. It. Out.'

Proving the growing hype around him right, Midas.Gold brings his unique ear for beats and his fresh vocals to 'Work. It. Out.' - a slower jam than his usual mobbing numbers but an exciting move nonetheless for the newcomer.

Making his presence known early in the track, it carries his now-trademark energy and braggadoccio that he will soon become known for - and that is definitely not a bad thing. In fact, Midas.Gold represents a take on hip-hop that hasn't really been seen quite like this in Australia, and serves as a very exciting addition to the evolving sonic landscape of our homegrown music scene.
