A major part of EMC's many initiatives each year is the live showcase series, better known as EMCPlay. It's back in 2016, and applications are now open.
As we're 100% committed to featuring and backing emerging talent within the Australian music scene, it made sense for us to get behind EMC this year as a media partner. A major part of their many initiatives each year is the live showcase series, better known as EMCPlay. It's back in 2016, and applications are now open.
So without further adieu, we're here to call all established and emerging Australian electronic music talent, EMCPlay 2016 applications are open now and anyone is welcome to apply! Each year, EMCPlay takes over Sydney for one epic night of cutting edge electronic music featuring 30 local acts in a huge multi-venue showcase event.
Over the last three years EMCPlay has given established and emerging electronic music artists access to the international market, by connecting artists with the many international talent buyers EMC hosts each year.
Previous showcasing artists include the likes of L D R U, Running Touch, BUOY and Nicole Millar (all who just slayed Splendour 2016) as well as KLP, Porsches, The Kite String Tangle and about another billion acts we've loved and supported at Purple Sneakers.

Beyond the benefits of connecting with international buyers in key export markets, EMCPlay is also an awesome way for artists to connect with new audiences passionate about discovering their new favourite artist through EMCPlay.
