WOODES is yet to disappoint, with the release of latest single 'The Thaw', the songstress has encapsulated us within her vocal warmth.

Take us back a couple of months and the Melbourne based artist chucked us the expressive 'Daggers & Knives' as the first release off an upcoming EP with collaborator ELKLLE.

Now she's dropped another scintillating piece, interweaving the concepts of snow and time through her poetic-like portrayal. Written and produced by both Woodes and LANKS, and mixed/mastered by Simon Lam (Kllo/Nearly Oratario), 'The Thaw' follows her previous release, honing the art of snappy beats and Woodes own warm tone.

The intricate positioning of instrumentation reveals the delicate nature of Woodes lyrics as she tells a story of love, sorrow and self reflection. Give this track some time, let it fall into you like snow falls on a winters day, and most definitely encase her lyrics.
