THOM SONNY GREEN of Alt-J has put out his second song and visual 'Palms' which is to appear on his debut solo album, High Anxiety.

'Palms' is an instrumental electronic track which has a lot of sound to dig into, like the rich atmosphere that it builds throughout the track length. This track is steady in the pace that it adds different elements and remains fairly conservative on what it does add. This track feels laid back, like you'd listen to this inside your home and enjoy every sonic detail.

The visuals are simple but fit the track in a way, the main thing is that it looks like a body of water that's being filmed on an old camera, this is just a little thing but Thom Sonny Green has been doing this for every single released and it's a nice touch to have a visual attached to a track. Even if small it shows that there's clearly a mood that's wanting to be conveyed.

'Palms' sounds nice but it does feel like it's meant to be listened to when it's in the album, as a single it has me curious on how this fits into the album and how it sounds after going through the album in order. Thom Sonny Green has been doing a great job so far with the singles leading up to his album, i'm keen to hear the whole thing.
