Live Review: Ta-ku and Wafia team up for new EP, tease us with 'Meet in the Middle'

Dreamboats TA-KU and WAFIA have teamed up to create the perfect collaboration, announcing a joint EP and teasing us with new single, 'Meet in the Middle'.

The new EP, titled (m)edian, is due early August via Future Classic, but until then let 'Meet in the Middle' tie you over.

The emotional track truly shows both artists talents as producer and vocalist. On the track, Ta-ku explains "Meet In The Middle is truly a collaborative effort between me and my friend Wafia. All aspects of the song tell a story that runs parallel to both our lives. Compromise is sacrifice." Wafia says, “This song came out of a need to write about a very personal experience that both Reggie and I shared independently of each other. Meet In The Middle is about finding the middle ground to communicate that to someone." 

The track kind of makes you want to call your ex and apologise for everything you've done. You shouldn't though. Take a listen here:

(m)edian is out on August 5 via Future Classic, and you can also catch Ta-ku and Wafia performing at the Sydney Opera House for a sold-out show as part of VIVID Live (with a second show now on sale).
