Live Review: PREMIERE: Futurecop! is 'Hunting Melodies' on the new Eau Rouge

Eau Rouge has just put out a remix for their song 'Hunting Melodies' by FUTURECOP!, who has given a more 80's synth-pop approach to the track.

Comparing the remix to the original you'll find the difference between the two to be massive, the original being a alternative rock song while the remix being an electronic based synth-pop track, while the difference are obvious the things that keep these tracks connected is the vocals which fit on the remix well. This remix shifts the genre of the original so well that many people would not expect the original to be a rock song if they heard the remix first.

What Futurecop! has provided in his remix is a great synth track that reminds me of something from the 80's, the track has that running feel that a lot of synths had back in those days but this track also has these moments where the drum line goes away and all that's left is this sweeping synth line which gives the track some dynamic range.
