ANATOLE is this one in a million kind of producer. He dropped his EP Surrounds last year, he has now dropped Surrounds (Remixed) edition.

ANATOLE is this one in a million kind of producer, who is this blur between orchestral and electronic.

He dropped his second EP Surrounds last year, receiving rave reviews and delivering awe-inspiring sounds. Given how amazing this album was, and some of the magical things he has been doing on the remix and collaboration side of things, he has now dropped Surrounds (Remixed) edition.

In order to create this remixed version of things, Anatole called on the help of some very talented friends in the form of Asadasfr Bawd, JaysWays, Lonelyspeck, Iljuswifmo and Jack Grace. The entire work is like a celebration of the superb talent Australia has on offer. The new versions of each track are more than just a standard remix, they are a rework with fresh vocals or sound layers added, or in the case of Jack Grace it has even been labelled a “De-Mix”.

It’s hard to use words to adequately describe each track. You certainly need to feel this music, as has always been the case with Anatole’s music. The remixed version of Surrounds seems to take a slightly darker slide down the rabbit hole. So many sounds come into play, so many twists and turns. It’s well worth listening to the original, then the remixed EP. You will be able to keep listening for hours, and feeling so many things, thinking so many thoughts.
