Lil Silva passed the stems of his track 'Lines' from his latest EP to longtime confidant GEORGE FITZGERALD for rework that shifts the focus from Lil Silva original for a track more focused on the dance floor.

'Lines' George FitzGerald remix is steady throughout the entire duration, 4/4 kick drums with some interesting synths and vocal chops splattered all across the track, it's simply pleasant to listen to as the track has a real sense of progression that makes time fly listening to it without you noticing.

So comparing the remix to the original the main difference comes down to the drums, in the version done by George FitzGerald the drums are a steady 4/4 pattern, which gives the track a nice sense of movement and pace suitable for the dance floor, compared to the original which has a steady buildup before the drums even hit and when they do it's not a steady 4/4 pattern it's more of an erratic break beat pattern. The remix hits a different area than the original, while it keeps a lot of elements like the synths and vocal chops the remix re-contextualises them into a new sound which makes them fresh and interesting.
