Emerging from the fog regional NSW last year, 20 year old VERA BLUE has dropped her second track, ‘Settle’. Equalling the marvel that surrounded her first release, this track and complimentary video will enchant you.

Premiered on Triple J’s Good Nights with Linda, ‘Settle’ is another example of how powerful and unique vocals can transform electronic music from a hypnotising sound to an epic piece of musical wonder. Producers Gossling and Andy Mak helped to create the rhythmic and soothing sounds to accompany the vocals.

Vera Blue has a voice that alone could silence a crowd, and in ‘Settle’ she is certainly sending a message about silencing emotional pain and moving on to something brighter, regaining your own strength and independence.

Returning to the black and white colour palette featured in Vera Blue’s debut video for ‘Hold’, Sydney creative Paper Moose have created dark and wistful journey to accompany the lyrics, and visualise the journey of moving on.

‘Settle’ is out now through Universal Music Australia.
