As if CHRISTA VI's killer track 'Invisible' weren't good enough on it's own, we're happy to be premiering the JAMES CURD remix and it's everything we could have hoped for.

This newest remix comes to us as a part of Christa Vi's promo for her upcoming album, Makeshift HappinessWhich has seen her releasing new singles, remixes and general teasers each month in the lead up to the album's release. James Curd's remix of 'Invisible' included.

James Curd takes the disco-inspired synth-pop of the original track and transforms it into a true house track without abandoning it's groovy feel. The rhythm of the track stay very true to the original with clear disco influence in the tone of the bass and drums throughout the piece. The electronica, on the other hand, sounds like something you would encounter in a gritty, underground London nightclub. (In which, everyone else there seems infinitely cooler than you, but that might just be my experience.)

This isn't the first remix Christa Vi has included with a single release. The title track for Makeshift Happiness, was released with a remix by SMALL PYRAMIDS which we were also very lucky to premiere in September of 2015. It's an inspired move on Christa Vi's part and we're very glad that she has decided to keep up the trend.

Christa Vi's Makeshift Happiness is coming soon and, although James Curd has announced an album with friend and fellow DJ DIZ the collaboration, titled Repopulate Mars, he has yet to receive an official release date. So keep your fingers crossed and eyes open for release dates.
