Sydney artist AVIVA has begun 2016 the right way, by bringing us a new single. Her newest single 'Electric Venom' is a indie-pop fusion with elements of reggae, funk and hip hop giving it a unique and interesting sound.

Aviva Payne, known professionally as AViVA, comes into 2016 on the back of a huge 2015. AViVA spent 2015 on the road for two national tours, not to mention a series of Australian festivals or the 700,000 plays and counting on her single 'Crystaleyes' on Spotify.

'Electric Venom' is her fourth single and has been highly anticipated by both her fans and AViVA herself via social media. The singer has been awaiting the release of the track with a countdown spanning most of the month of January and her excitement speaks well not only of the track itself but of her passion as a musician.

'Electric Venom' shows significant reggae influence in its beat and her vocals are a beautiful fusion of hip hop and pop.

With a new single so early in the year we can only expect more to come from AViVA - and hopefully sometimes soon.
