Brisbane lady, Wafia, has just announced her first ever run of Australian headlining shows in support of her debut EP, XIXX.
Brisbane-based singer-songwriter, WAFIA Al-Rikabi, though most commonly known mononymously, pushed out her stunning 5-track debut, XIXX, at the tail-end of 2015. Touching the hearts of so many, it's our great pleasure to acknowledge the artist's debut, national tour!
Certainly a seasoned member of the touring circus, Wafia has already kickstarted the new year with festival appearances at Field Day and Beyond The Valley, as well as traversing overseas for a set at LA's Neuehouse Gallery.
Going one up from that, Wafia joined her good mate, Ta-ku during his one-off session at New York's, Museum of Modern Art PS1 (MoNA). Shot by Nic Wrathal, watch as the collaborative pair seamlessly fill the space of the gallery's igloo-like dome; as stunning visuals accommodate the ethereal arrangement of Wafia's, 'Heartburn'.
