'Dusk' is the first single to come from LIGHT FALLS, the new pseudonym of Essex artist Dominic Gentry aka Attaque.

'Dusk' is the first single to come from LIGHT FALLS, the new pseudonym of Essex artist Dominic Gentry aka Attaque. Light Falls is a completely new direction for Dominic, but he manages to create beautiful bittersweet music.

The production on 'Dusk' utilises many ominous sounding sounds that are doused in reverb and build upward towards the end of the track. The entire track bounces between dark rumbling bass synths to lighter melodic pads like a game of metaphorical music tennis. Light Falls knows how to play with emotions with his production on this track as on the 1st time listen it's a beautiful blend of emotional highs and lows.

With a strong vocal inflection from Harry Edwards 'Dusk' changes between soft sad tones to more uplifting and powerful vocals as the production builds. It has to be said that at the start of the song I had to double check who the vocalist was because Harry sounded exactly like fellow UK artist James Blake. A testament to the skill Edwards brings to the table on this track.

'Dusk' seems to be a proof of concept for the new direction that Dominic is taking with Light Falls with. 'Dusk' is hopefully just a taste of what Light Falls has in store for us this year.
