Live Review: PREMIERE: Thousand Fingers 'Down'

10 December 2015 | 2:00 am | Caitlin Medcalf

Fast forward to today, and we're excited to be bringing you a new electro/g-house fusion from Thousand Fingers that's definitely one for your library.

I don't know about you, but I love an absolute dancefloor banger that will put my jaw on the floor. And this one certainly did just that.

THOUSAND FINGERS is getting set to put out his debut EP Down next week through High Above the Ground, but don't let the whole 'debut' thing deceive you; this producer's been around the tracks.

He's one half of Paradisko, playing to crowds across the world and absolutely dominating with their unique and forward thinking brand of electronica.

Fast forward to today, and we're really excited to be bringing you the new electro/g-house fusion that is definitely one for your library.

It's the title track from the EP and creates a definite alternative approach to well-established styles, taking it just that little step further that really solidifies Thousand Fingers' place as a real up and comer in terms of distinction and innovation.

This one feels more tech house to me, but again, there's that weird fusion of sounds that makes this one really hard to pinpoint. It's definitely one of my favourite dancefloor anthems that I've heard in a while, particularly as the production is so clean and the beat is so heavy.

Thousand Fingers is absolutely killing it, and with this release, we'll only be more stoked to hear what comes next from the producer.
