Artists to Watch in 2016: Fresh Hex
The cosmic colours of Randall Stagg’s FRESH HEX project are continually shining through, and if 2015 is any indication of where he’s headed as a producer, it’s going to be a big one for the Melbourne artist.
Backed by his friends and label over at Sidechains, he’s used 2015 to drop some cool tracks including ‘Goddess’ featuring Rosebud Leach which has been shortlisted in this year’s Triple J Hottest 100 countdown.
Aside from this, he’s played some big sets around his city and has lay dormant preparing for what’s going to come in 2016 for the producer. And based on a couple of little words here and there, you should be as stoked as we are to hear what’s to come from Fresh Hex.
He’s locked in a support slot for Sophie‘s Melbourne leg of his national tour which tbh is really fucking huge for Fresh Hex. Aside from this, he’s just dropped a new single called ‘When You Were Mine’ which will be featured on his forthcoming EP Reflective Romantic which will be out some time in early 2016.
We’re super keen to hear what Fresh Hex has got in store for us next, which is why we’re stoked to be dubbing him one of our artists to watch in 2016.
