Live Review: Tiny Little Houses 'Soon We Won't Exist' (Official Video)

TLH have captured their own resonant brand of lo-fi/indie/folk through lyrics, track structure, and now their new video for single 'Soon We Won't Exist'.

It's very rarely that you happen across an artist who resonates with you on more than just a sonic level. Neutral Milk Hotel's In The Aeroplane Over The Sea for not only myself, but I imagine for an infinite amount of others, resonates on more than a sonic level purely because it's glistening brand of lo-fi indie/folk was capable of conveying such powerful imagery within their tracks.

TINY LITTLE HOUSES have that same effect with their music, but also, their sound is so reminiscent of NMH and other lo-fi accomplishers like Sufjan Stevens. It's a beautiful brand of sound that many try to emulate, but more often than not fail to accomplish.

TLH have captured their own incredibly resonant brand of lo-fi/indie/folk through their lyrics, track structure, and now their new video for single 'Soon We Won't Exist'.

It's one that focuses on psychological ticks, portraying an array of existential scenarios. Place this against the premise that 'Soon We Won't Exist', and it feels almost like paranoia by the end of the track.

Their gorgeous low-key sound resonates entirely with the multitude of fuzzy televisions strewn across the performance floor, allowing for a plethora of shots and sequences to be squeezed in.

TLH have just released their debut EP 'You Tore Out My Heart' through Ivy League Records.
