Live Review: Premiere: Klue 'Hiding'

He's back with a killer new number, and we're super excited to be giving you all the first taste of KLUE's new energetic work in the form of 'Hiding'.

He's wowed us all before with his afro style hip-hop beats that double as incredible dance tracks and his gorgeous, soulful vocals. He's back with a killer new number, and we're super excited to be giving you all the first taste of KLUE's new energetic work in the form of 'Hiding'.

Giving off an eerily ominous vibe in the opening intro, it's starkly contrasted with this chromatic scale chime that has this incredible jungle-esque.

There's been a real trend with male vocalists lately, pairing an electronic line with some skilful vocals, but I think Klue totally surpasses this cliche.

His music comes from a place of authenticity, and you can hear it in the clarity and excitedness in the vocals. Not only that, but the afro-inspired percussion really wins this one over for me. It's complicated, yet simplistic in that it makes the track feel whole. You don't get distracted by it, and I think that's a really cool balance he's managed to achieve.

Klue has time and time again proved that he's a huge front runner in terms of innovation. His inspirations and experience ring so true through all of this work, and 'Hiding' is somehow another step up from the Sydney based producer.
