Live Review: Yeo 'Icarus'

Melbourne based producer YEO has kindly blessed our ears with another hands down hit single, 'ICARUS'.

If you haven't had the pleasure of listening to Yeo yet, we strongly suggest you sort that out right now. The songs created by this brilliant man are exactly what you should be adding to your playlist, ready to jam out to throughout your weekend shenanigans.

A few months back, Yeo provided us with 'Quiet Achiever' - a song with an insanely sick combination of good vibes and trap sounding beats. Also, fun fact, for any Hermitude fans out there who know of the song 'Searchlight', you would have heard a feature vocal of the man himself Yeo on the track.

Following these, obviously there was a bit of anticipation and excitement for what else he could deliver to us; and of course, just as expected, he's crushed all expectations with his new song 'Icarus'.

As soon as 'Icarus' begins with simple tapping noises, you can already tell the direction in which it will go. The vocals of the man himself featured in the song that soon follow fit the feel perfectly, too. With Summer approaching fast, Yeo has really timed this one perfectly. This up-beat, happy tune is sure to get repeated plays throughout the new season (which is exactly what it deserves). Take a listen below.
