Live Review: PREMIERE: Set Mo 'Classic House Set' (Recorded Live At Splendour In The Grass 2015)

There's so much beauty in creating a mix. Whether you want to bracket a certain period of time, play around with tempos, or simply just mash a bunch of your favourite tunes together, the one guarantee is that it's going to turn out completely unique to what has ever been done before.

Sydney duo, SET MO treated their Splendour In The Grass audience to a huge throwback banquet with their, 'Classic House Set' at this years festival. Impeccably moudled, the boys chow down 19 tracks, buttered in nostalgic goodness spanning from the 90s to the early 2000s.

Opening up with Fatboy Slim, listen in as they subtly soon phase in Stardust's, 'Music Sounds Better With You'. Sing along to, 'Toca's Miracle' with those present before hearing the crowd losing their shit to Groove Armada. Toning things down momentarily with Dirty Vegas' 'Days Go By', the levels are brought straight back up again, closing with Mousse T's, 'Horny '98'.

Celebrating a period of smoother synths, softer beats and heartfelt lyrical swoons, you'd best dig up your sequinned halterneck crop and hit up the d-floor to completely marvel in the glory that is Set Mo's, 'Classic House Set'.
