Grey Marle member Deer caught our attention a little while ago, but he's well and truly exceeded our expectations with his latest release, 'Cry For Help'.

Grey Marle Music crew member DEER is a producer from Melbourne that we've been keeping our eye on for a while now, and though perhaps we underestimated just how much he was capable of, judging from his latest single 'Cry For Help'. Drawing heavily on influences from Jersey Club, hip hop, and even elements of future house, Deer has well and truly raised the bar with this track.

Sounding like a few separate songs all blended into one, 'Cry For Help' isn't your average Jersey Club banger. Instead, it's unassuming, unpredictable and incredibly captivating. You don't quite know where it's taking you, but it sounds so good you don't mind.

From the breakneck build of the first 45 seconds, to the bouncing, bassy breakdown that follows it, Deer flexes more than a few new and improved skills here and doesn't hold back one bit in showing off what he's learned so far.

This is Deer's first official single and although we have more than enjoyed his previous works, this one makes us extremely excited to see what he does next. Clearly sitting on a wealth of potential and promise, it's all up from here!
