Banoffee, aka Martha Brown, has well and truly returned to the scene with a new single, a new EP on the way and a new signing to Dot Dash Recordings.

BANOFFEE has well and truly returned to the scene in style with the release of her latest single 'With Her' last week. It's been about a year since we last heard from her, but the wait is finally over and has been more than worth it.

Having one hell of a year last year, it also comes as no surprise that Banoffee aka Martha Brown has officially signed with Dot Dash Recordings to coincide with this release, and 'With Her' is the first taste from her forthcoming EP, Do I Make You Nervous? out in October. Building on the foundation she had laid from her track 'Ninja', 'Let's Go To The Beach' and 'I Got It', 'With Her' is the next step up for Brown, and the multitude of genres and sounds she so effortlessly moves through.

'With Her' is a piano led electro pop track with ultra good vibes, even though the lyrics paint a slightly different picture. The melancholy that Brown sings about is juxtaposed with the 80s-esque house production, which is pulled off tremendously with thanks to co-producer Oscar Key Sung. It's delicate and soft, but has a subtle liberating feeling - not to mention the homage to the early noughties classic of Mario's 'Let Me Love You' towards the end.

It goes without saying that excitement is rife for Banoffee's EP, and this single only adds to the anticipation. Clearly having taken the time to hone in on her plethora of talents and natural skills, Banoffee is back better than ever before, and we can't wait for what's to come.
