Live Review: Baio 'Sister Of Pearl' (Official Video)

29 July 2015 | 6:09 pm | Emma Jones

Baio gets the perfect clip to match his new single 'Sister of Pearl', which shows him boogying around London to the beat of his own drum.

Chris Baio, or just BAIO as he's known, has been a busy man lately. Since the announcement just a couple of months ago that he was set to drop a new album titled The Names this September, he has released two huge singles and now, a fresh new clip for the second single, 'Sister Of Pearl'. Embodying a hybrid of Bryan FerryDavid Bowie and himself, Baio sticks true to the feel of his song in this interesting video.

Considering the track is all about being yourself and not changing "for the world", Baio takes that to the nth degree in this clip. Seen boogying to his own tune through city gardens, streets and on boats, all the while looking very earnest and serious, Baio is just being himself - making it one of the more endearing clips we've seen in recent times.

The clip looks as fun to make as it is to watch, and considering it's a sugary sweet, feel good pop track, it all ties together perfectly. 'Sister Of Pearl' came hot on the heels of lead single 'Brainwash Yyrr Face', and although the two tracks couldn't be more different, together they paint a very exciting picture of what we can expect to come from The Names.
