Live Review: The Beach 'From Above' (Boehm Remix)
Romanian producer Boehm is no stranger to number one tracks, and his latest release - a remix of The Beach's 'From Above' - looks set to do the same again.
Hitting number one on Hype Machine not once, but three times, Romanian producer BOEHM has the coveted spot in his sights once again with the release of his latest remix of The Beach's 'From Above'. Delicate, soft and so chilled, Boehm has reworked The Beach into a dreamy soundscape with just enough good vibes to keep the party going.
Heavy bass, cymbal crashes and a funky guitar riff intertwine to make a tropical flavoured, feel-good track that is perfect for letting go or unwinding. Somehow reaching that middle ground, Boehm keeps it bouncy and alive, but delicate and soft enough to suit just about any situation, which is probably going to be the key to the track's success.
Keeping elements of the original track - including the to-die-for saxophone solo - Boehm keeps it simple and, in turn, keeps it lively and let's the track breathe in his rework. With touches of tropical house, the track ventures into multiple genres and styles without ever staying in one place for very long. It's a remix that highlights Boehm's versatility as a producer, and one that reaffirms he is someone to keep an eye on at all times.

Although there is no word on any future releases just yet from the producer, the track has already received over 70,000 plays in just 8 days meaning this is a track you'll probably be hearing for some time to come. Let's hope this is just as successful as his last releases, and that another one comes about very soon indeed.
