Live Review: Bob Moses 'Talk' (Official Video)

30 June 2015 | 12:46 pm | Hannah Galvin

New York duo, Bob Moses, have revealed the visual component of their single, 'Talk' through this dark and grim narrative.

We recently covered the first single of BOB MOSES' forthcoming debut album, Days Go By. Titled, 'Talk', it's a dark and grim tale factoring in the importance of communication. 'Talk' has since been granted an accompanying video clip, directed by Andreas Arvidsson and Robin Asselmeyer.

H0lding onto the last few moments of a civilised lifestyle, the persona sits away from her significant other under a dim light, for the hurt of her next conquest has just about blown out the flame of their relationship.

Driving down an isolated highway, memories flood back and are painted with lighter hues and smiling faces to portray their healthy affair, one that can now only live in yesterday. Trapped by her situation, the woman travels further out from the life of her city, and is uncontrollably banned from turning back, as conveyed by the caged back windshield.

Reaching a scene destined for crime and a lack of identity, the woman conforms to the unsettling, armed men and joins them as they jet off to undertake a task that is explicitly evil.

A deliverance of decline and the unexpectancy of life's woes and consequences, the visual narrative of 'Talk' compliments the sombre sonic background flawlessly.

'Talk' is the first single taken from Bob Moses' debut album, Days Go By; to be released on Friday, 18th September via Domino. Pre-order the album HERE.
