Live Review: Ara Koufax 'Converge' (Official Video)

19 May 2015 | 1:55 pm | Hannah Galvin

Melbourne duo, Ara Koufax have just released the accompanying video to their debut single, 'Converge'.

Melbourne's Sam Gill and Luke Neher (of Naysayer & Gilsun fame) have just pushed out the clip to their debut EP's first single, 'Converge', under the name of their latest project, ARA KOUFAX.

If someone had told me that the Ara Koufax boys were cross country champions during their schooling careers, I'd definitely believe them, for the fitspirational duo show off their impeccable stride in, 'Converge'. Directed by Jacob Strasser, the panting bodies of Gill and Neher follow us, exhaling icy clouds as they sprint through the cold.

Slowed down in a black & white filter, their lunging legs and following arms soon begin to look like some type of dance move against the sonically audacious background. Taking a quick breather in between vocals, we're back on track, and this run around the block soon transforms into a quest; as the two chase the opportunity questioned throughout the weight of the lyricism.
