Live Review: PREMIERE: Pure Moods 'Blurb'

Adam Madric, Alex Lashlie and Wyatt Knowles make-up PURE MOODS. A Melbourne based outfit creating some nostalgic loafer pop with debut single 'Blurb'.

After supporting Crepes' single launch a couple months ago, this trio of dudes gives us 'Blurb'. A harmonious, 4 minute, slacker-pop track, which we're stoked to be PREMIERING today!

With crunchy guitar strums, impressive harmonies and a continuous catchy tempo, Pure Moods create a perfect blend of laid back and experimental pop. 'Blurb' has that distinct surf rock sound that's easy on the ears and melodic as hell. With incredibly honest and wistful lyrics like "it used to make me cry when I used to hold it down inside", it's hard not to let the band's ethereal vocalist take you some place else with a whole lotta' yearning.
