Live Review: Pantheon ‘It’s About Time’

18 May 2015 | 9:00 am | Caitlin Medcalf

Pantheon is heading out on a national tour thanks to the legends at Unknown, and to celebrate, there’s a new track in it for you.

Unknown Records have been having a blast over these last few months. The forward-thinking Wollongong based label has grasped 2015 with open arms and have been expanding their roster with immense reception by their audiences.

PANTHEON is one of those artists, a Sydney based producer. They’re heading out on a national tour thanks to the legends at Unknown, and to celebrate, there’s a new track in it for you.

‘It’s About Time’ is a crisp slice of deep house. Something you can tell Pantheon prides themself on is clean beats and a direction of immense intent and decisiveness.

The track itself samples a cool repetitive motif of a male vocalist which eventuates into that club-heavy slice of deep house.

Pantheon is obviously no stranger to the clubs or making music to dance to (there’s actually now a distinct difference between dance music and music you can dance to, particularly in recent years). ‘It’s About Time’ is a sure-fire indicator of the direction the tour’s heading, and we’re super stoked to hear this gem.
