During the height of anticipation of his new upcoming sophomore album ‘Lustmore’, Brainfeeder frontrunner and electronic music mastermind LAPALUX, has released another tranquilizing track onto his SOUNDCLOUD.

There aren’t many who successfully live up to the calibre of artful intelligent production the way that Essex based, Stuart Howard does. After the release of his dreamy EP ‘Nostalchic’ and recent syrupy single  ‘Closure’, he has asserted himself as a force to be reckoned with and one who understands textured layering, mechanical looping and booming bassline-ing like no other amongst the glocal electronic music scene.

With his new track 'Don't mean a thing', we are reminded of that all-consuming, heart-pounding, lo-fi Lapalux sound we all know and love. He opens the track holding our hand and keeping us close within a desolate, cloudy landscape (for just a short while), before throwing us into an abyss of peaks and drops, hazy atmospherics, body numbing bass and shuffling percussion. This track is big and bombastic, with repetition and tension that emotionally pulls you in and then pushes you away. It'll effortlessly sedate you and leave you feeling wavey for the next 2 days.

This is the second single release off his upcoming album 'Lustmore' (released on April 7th). It is proof that Howard intends to provide us with a codeine filled mecca of seductive soul and ear gripping electronica, and there is no doubt in my mind that he'll do so with an ease and precision that should be envied by all.
