Live Review: S-Type 'Casper' ft. Lunice

5 February 2015 | 4:36 pm | Stella Cameron

With it's haunting, spiritual ora, S Type's new song featuring Lunice, suits it's ghostly title 'Casper' perfectly

This song is for people who find themselves Googling abandoned theme parks and prisons in their spare time. If you love the way evil characters in films listen to orchestral music whilst committing their crimes then I think you will like the spooky vibe this songs gives off.

With it's haunting, spiritual ora, S Type's new song featuring Lunice, suits it's ghostly title - Casper - perfectly. It's mysterious and subtle horror fuelled introduction builds up subtly to the beat drop around the 20 second mark flawlessly.

Raised amongst a family of jazz and rock musicians, Bobby Perman (aka S Type) was born to create art like this. As early as 2005 Bobby was finding himself hanging out and working with musicians such as Hud Mo, Mike Slott and The Blessings, which all were bound to have influences, making him the incredible musician he is today.

You will wake up in the middle of the night with the intro riff of this song bouncing around your brain. It can be heard haunting the entirety of the song, but your ears will tend to let the electronic beat carry you away to somewhere else. This doesn't just sound haunting, it will take you over. It's beat and composition is unlike anything else; it's catchy, absurd and makes you just want to move.

Listening to this song is going to cause you to wish you were playing an evil character in American Horror Story. There's an unusual beauty that many hits tend to miss, but Casper captures it perfectly.
