DENA's 2014 debut Flash was an M.I.A inspired escapade into 90s cool; a breezy, chill record that held its own through soft, retro beats and her breathy Bulgarian tinged vocals.

Whilst DENA's rap swagger isn't prominent on new track 'Another Love' , it doesn't loose any of it's atmosphere, instead the sweet alt pop track breaths new life into her interesting and eclectic repertoire.

Bulgarian Native, and Berlin based, DENA is the indie pop starlet the world has been waiting for. Following on from european acts such of France's Soko, she exists within a legion of hip european femmes. The kind that has marked the celebrity of Brigitte Bardot and Jane Birkin before her: That I-don’t-give-a-shit, fun and flirty attitude e that penetrates the work of DENA, much so on new track ‘Another Love’.

Production duties are handled by Canadian multi-instrumentalist and producer Mocky. No stranger to working with the creme de la creme of pop talent - his work boasting accolades with Jane Birkin, Fiest and more recently, r’n’b upstart Kelela. It’s fair to say that Mocky knows a fair bit about compromising sounds to coincide with pop singer’s unique vocals and vision, which is not doubt on display in Another Love. Sweet, glittery synths, alongside a fuzzed out guitar chords make for the perfect accompaniment to DENA’s airy track about complicated love.

'Another Love' is a cool summer jam that indicates DENA has a promising future in pop stardom.
