Meanwhile ft. Luke Million, Pantheon + More

8 December 2014 | 9:49 pm | Clare Mingorance

Disco extraordinaire Luke Million will be playing at Meanwhile this Friday night, along with Pantheon and the usual Meanwhile residents.

LUKE MILLION plays synthesizers, and he plays them well. After bursting on the scene with his 'Italo/Octobussy' EP a few years ago, it wasn't long before he became one of Australia's most recognised disco-funk producers.

Well Sydney residents, you're in luck this weekend because the disco extraordinaire is stopping by the Imperial Hotel this Friday for a night of funky, feel-good vibes.

Also one half of electronic duo The Swiss, it appears the Adelaide-based producer can do no wrong. Despite the fact his 80's gym, Arnold Schwarzenegger-inspired track 'Arnold' was released years ago, it is still without a doubt a club favourite, and has received a ridiculous amount of love world-wide. The same can be said for his more recent track 'Midnight', which was released as a part of his 'Midnight Galaxy' EP via New York label, Nervous Records. Since this Million has recently signed to independent label etcetc (Paces, Kilter, PNAU), where he released his latest EP 'Light & Sound'.

Aside from his original material, Million further shows off his talent through a number of remixes, including tracks from Olympic Ayres, Moullinex, Midnight Pool Party and Tkay Maidza, as well as his own act, The Swiss.

If this isn't enough to persuade you, house producer Pantheon will be supporting on the night, as well as residents and guests Depth SquadBassic Thieves and Alexander Mason.

Get ready to get you're groove on!
