Live Review: The Kite String Tangle 'Stone Cold' (Official Video)

After an ARIA nomination and a platinum single with his debut track 'Given the Chance', THE KITE STRING TANGLE is on a roll and what better way to top it all off with a brand new music video.

The new video is for 'Stone Cold', one of the many beautifully constructed tracks on the Brisbane producer's EP Vessels.

'Stone Cold' itself is an incredible track that is full of emotion. Recorded as a duet between Danny Harley, the man behind THE KITE STRING TANGLE, and vocalist Tiana Khasi, the track tells a story of a fractured relationship that cannot be repaired. The melody flows wonderfully with brooding synths and a light beat snapping it's way through the piece in the heavier moments. The harmonies are the heart of 'Stone Cold' and it's the heart that is on show in the music video.

Directed by Lachlan Dickie, the music video for 'Stone Cold' is a whole new emotional roller coaster itself. beginning with a girl crying and heartbroken in her car, she gets her things and leaves it in an empty car park and walks away. As she walks she tries to compose herself and soon enters a modelling studio that's completely frozen in time.

The music video is something to behold, representing a track that will no doubt earn itself a platinum single over time.
