Still riding the blowout success of 'High' but discontent to rest on their laurels, Peking Duk release the video for their huge new track, 'Take Me Over'.

Canberra-bred Sydney dwellers and veteran party animals PEKING DUK are still riding the success of their huge anthemic hit ‘High’ but, not content to rest on their laurels, the boys are back.

They’re fresh off their Peace, Love and Sweatiness tour, a triumphant sweep across Australia that sold out venues across the country (and kicked off with one of Splendour in the Grass’ biggest, most energetic and most discussed sets). Anyone lucky enough to have seen them live over the tour’s course witnessed their highly-anticipated new single, ‘Take Me Over’, performed live with Ben Woolner-Kirkham of SAFIA on vocals.

It’s a voracious track and the video – directed by boutique Melbourne production company Frank Meets Wolf – is a gorgeously assembled, vibrant ode to escapism full of rich landscapes that tie in to the song’s lyrical theme of leaving the responsibility of addressing your problems ‘til tomorrow.

Those who are eager to see Peking Duk’s patented trademark high energy, no holds barred live show can catch them at Stereosonic this December. Anyone keen who hasn’t been subsisting on a diet of grilled chicken, broccoli, protein shakes and vodka sodas may be more interested in catching them at Beyond The Valley on Phillip Island over New Years Eve – which is sure to send this year off with a bang.

I’m calling it early: I predict that 2015 will be an even bigger year for this duo, who are proving themselves to be one of Australia’s brightest and best DJ acts.

Take Me Over’ is available for download now on iTunes
