Tycho Announce Two Australian Summer Festival Sideshows

TYCHO

The 2014/2015 Falls Festival line-up sent us all in awe here at Purple Sneakers. The amount of quality acts they have on offer for us is just mind-blowingly great, we couldn’t be happier about the way we’re spending this New Years Eve! That goes for anyone in possession of a Falls ticket of course..

For those who weren’t so lucky, find solace in knowing that most of these guys performing won’t be totally satisfied with just festival dates, as they want to ensure their outstretched arms collect the hug of many an Australian city. One of those guys is Scott Hansen, better known to you as visual artist ISO50, as well as electronic wizard TYCHO.

Releasing his record Awake early 2014, Tycho announced that it was the first of his releases to be recorded as a full band. Taking this element outside of the studio, his live show has too expanded, as it now features these same extra band members taking care of bass, guitar and drums on stage; enabling a much fuller, atmospheric experience for the attentive audience to digest.

Announcing the extension of their Australian stay with their inclusion on next years Field Day and Southbound Festival line-ups, Tycho and his live band have elongated the visit even further with two exclusive sideshows.

With just one show each at Melbourne and Sydney’s respective Hi-Fi Bars, it’ll be your last opportunity to catch Tycho during his early 2015 Australian tour.
