Danny Brown Announces Australian Headline Shows

Hip hop’s ultimate hipster, DANNY BROWN is returning to Australian shores. He'll be playing Origin NYE Festival in Perth and Field day in Sydney, but he's also treating Aussie fans to two special headline shows at The Hi-Fi in Brisbane and The Corner in Melbourne. 

The rapper has gained a cult following in recent years - with his self deprecating lyrics, over the top rap delivery and melding of genres giving him a distinctive sound ,far removed from anything quite like his contemporaries.

Coming off the back of Pitchfork praised Old, Danny Brown is taking his outlandish MC Skills back to Oz. Its a quick return for the Detroit star, who played alongside Earl Sweatshirt and Run The Jewels earlier this year, with The Au Review praising him as an unforgettable performer:

Brown's set is less of a rap show and more of a straight-up party, with him playing emcee and hype-man all by himself; switching between using his trademark comical flow and pushing his lyrics on us with a booming, commanding voice.
