Live Review: SBTRKT ft. Ezra Koenig 'New Dorp. New York.' (Official Video)

Every time you hear SBTRKT's new single, 'New Dorp. New York.' come on your radio, your body automatically twitches like a visible pulse hitting the beat. Now you can continue to physically respond in such a way on demand, as the artist has just dropped the songs official film clip.

Taken from his forthcoming second record, Wonder Where We Land (sitting comfortably amongst other popular singles such as 'Temporary View' and newbie, 'The Light'), we see the four-legged creature leave the hand of the albums cover art and enter a dark and almost lifeless area of an imagined American metropolis. Seemingly climbing through certain buildings on the sly, we watch the animated beast dodge surveilling light tunnels and reach tower rooftops; quickly becoming a king-like figure of the city it gallivants.

Continuing to roam the town, the SBTRKT-masked figure eventually retires for the day, and returns to the hand-throne for a slumber amongst the clouds before curiously waking up to a whole new day.
