Live Review: Tkay Maidza 'U-Huh' (Official Video)

6 August 2014 | 2:47 pm | Adriana Barro

The infectious, sassy track from Tkay Maidza 'U-Huh' got some visuals - feast your eyes.

Straight off the back of her appearance at Splendour In The Grass 2014, Adelaide artist TKAY MAIDZA has released some visuals for her infectious track 'U-Huh'.

Following on from the success of her hit 'Brontosaurus' and 'Handle My Ego', MAIDZA has proved yet again with this track that she has mastered the fine art of creating fun party tunes that combine hip hop and electro in exactly the right doses. TKAY is able to showcase her lyrical skills in this track, and although there is definitely room to draw comparisons with artists like M.I.A and AZEALIA BANKS as many have done, that should not take away from the fact this is a killer tune with a wholly personal vibe.

The clip helps to play up that youthful, carefree angle that TKAY MAIDZA exudes, as the camera follows her around while she wanders through an abandoned school doing her thing - trolleys, basketballs, balloons and two friends with a push bike included. The clip is vibrant and abstract, with plenty of filters and space-age backdrops flickering across the screen which feels aligned with the catchy beat surrounding it. If nothing else, this clips will teach you that TKAY MAIDZA can most likely dance to her song better than you can.
