Live Review: Riton 'I Am The Whisper' ft. Molly Beanland

RITON is building his back catalogue up at a rapid rate and now his latest single, 'I Am The Whisper', can now be added to it.

The track feels a lot more robotic that some of the producers most recent work, but it still has a very sweet groove to it that makes it completely danceable and ready for your next big night out.

RITON seems to be a very driven guy. He releases all of his tracks under his own record label, Riton Time, and seems to have a very clean structure that he builds his tracks around. In his last track 'Inside My Head', RITON went for a more melodic approach and surprised everyone by producing a very sweet house track, this time though the producer has blended his techno roots with pieces of old school garage and techno to bring 'I Am The Whisper' out to his ever expanding fan base.

Vocalist Molly Beanland lends her voice to 'I Am The Whisper' and instead of just belting out wonderful tunes and showing off a brilliant vocal range, Beanland has chosen to speak her vocals in a very sharp voice making the track seem all the more straight. The vocals seem to match the melody which is made up of garage-influenced keyboard tracks and crunchy synths. You can feel the techno influence charging underneath the synths however, the track still feels like a house track essentially making it feel kind of off at first, but then becoming comfortable the more you listen to it.

This track serves as more evidence that RITON will be a name to remember. The producer has skills and he intends to not let you forget it, not that we really will.

'I Am The Whisper' will be released on OWSLA's Nest platform on Sept 2nd.
