Live Review: Chet Faker 'Gold' (Official Video)

15 August 2014 | 12:00 am | Alean Penaflor

Feel every bit uncoordinated in comparison to the roller-skating babes in Chet Faker's music video for 'Gold'.

Shut the front door and someone give this man the keys to the city already; Australia's overachieving son and master of suave CHET FAKER whets fans appetites yet again with his music video for track, 'Gold'.

We can thank director Hiro Murai (who's also done work for  CHILDISH GAMBINO, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, EARL SWEATSHIRT and more) for this impressive, single-tracking shot display.

This visual creature feeds off smooth-rolling ladies who have some serious envy-inducing skills on wheels (as someone who can't walk without somehow colliding into an unmoving object, jealousy is an understatement here).  As the swagger-clothed trio continue to skate on down a dark road in choreographed style, one strays from the pack and brings the camera around to a road-block, formed with no other than a deer statue and that sleek-devil CHET FAKER crooning in the front seat of a car.

There's so much cursing needed and wanted to be said as a reaction to just how seamless and brilliant this video is, but one shall refrain and let you experience the same feelings whilst watching for yourself.
