LA rock-sisters HAIM mark their seven years together as a band by re-working their track 'My Song 5' with the help of A$AP FERG.
These ladies need little to no introduction - y'all know them as hair envy-inducing and rock siblings of HAIM. To mark their 7 years as the sisterhood of the travelling band, 'My Song 5' taken from their debut 'Days Are Gone' album has undergone a makeover with the help of A$AP FERG.
With the original's swaggering percussion rhythm and low brass-line all still in intact, this new version is a grittier take on the original, with its hip-hop edit amping up the seductive undertones as a result.

'Talk to me nice or don't talk to me' A$AP FERG drawls right before the track starts (is this a rehash of the line from A$AP MOB's, 'Bangin on Waxx'?). He continues to makes his presence known throughout the track with stabs of 'yeahs' and rap-growls injected here and there, throwing in a full verse before the last chorus for good measure.
If there was a question of 'Could this track pack any more sass?' before, then yes. Yes it can.
