When you think of disco there are probably a few artists that come to mind. LUKE MILLION or TODD TERJE might pop up, as would CHORDASHIAN.

The duo comprised of Micheal Banks and Felix Feygin have been making some very sweet disco tunes for a while now and with their track ‘Keep On’ suddenly getting us hooked on their sound, we’ve been waiting for the day that they would return with new material. Soon, that wait was over and the duo  released a new track called ‘Questions’ that features the vocals of Frances Rose.

‘Questions’ has a very digital aesthetic that blends with the disco influences very well. The vocals of Frances Rose float atop the twinkling synths that introduce the track before breaking into a deep, heavy disco chorus that just pounds its way through your speakers.

The original was released a few months ago and now we have a handful of producers remixing the track into their very own signature styles. A.W.O.L has had a go at remixing ‘Questions’ and now that the remix has been released, we are able to listen to it in all of its glory.

The German producer has his own great original work around the internet and is a very popular producer in his own right, so it’s no wonder that reworking ‘Questions’ was a success for him. The remix begins with a strong beat that soon has soft synths and chopped vocals surrounding it.

Rose‘s vocals come into play fully in the track and the melody is quite minimal until the song reaches it’s chorus. Like in the original mix, the chorus of ‘Questions’ seems to hold it’s crescendo. In the original mix, the chorus featured a series of synths that worked together to create a very full sound that attacked your ears however, in the A.W.O.L remix, we have twinkling synths, beaming samples and very soft elements creating it’s crescendo.

The Questions Remix EP is now available to purchase on iTunes.
