23 May 2014 | 3:42 pm | Lauren Payne

Bordeaux producer Darius has released a remix of MØ's track 'Don't Wanna Dance' and it's just as good as you'd expect.

Danish songstress   really knows how to get you on the dance floor with her range of upbeat electronic tracks.

The artist has become one of Denmark's best exports with her sweet voice and upbeat melodies, dubbed "the new GRIMES" quite early on in her career,   really surprised us all when she steered clear of the GRIMES influence to produce tracks that were a lot shinier and more fun to groove to.

released her track 'Don't Wanna Dance' quite some time ago and despite its title, the track is smooth and easy to move to. The track is carried by her wonderful vocals with deep percussion providing a solid platform for her to shine. A new remix has emerged for 'Don't Wanna Dance' by Bordeaux-based producer DARIUS and it's got a sweet funk that you only hear from specific artists these days.

DARIUS has opened his remix with a very smooth synth being covered with  's cooing vocals until a very digital groove kicks in. DARIUS' remix is velvety smooth, quite different from the original 'Don't Wanna Dance' mix. With early 2000's house making an appearance, the remix pushes on with beaming synths that burst through the track with the vocal track sounding ghostly as it echoes between the melody. The pace has been slowed down quite a lot to develop a tempo that just plods along in its own time, making the remix feel more relaxed and cool.

With this new remix, DARIUS has shown how he can take one track that sounds very energetic and turn it down into a velveteen dream that flows with ease.  's original track broke her out from the "new GRIMES" label and into her own, now DARIUS seems to have a grand introduction to us by creating a very sweet track that we now can't get enough of.
