New Melbourne outfit Hoodlem keep it effortlessly cool with their track, 'IGOTU'.
Don't be deceived into thinking HOODLEM are some sort of raucous rascals - quite contrary. This fresh new outfit hails from inner-city Melbourne, teasing the music industry as an anonymous project.
Fusing elements of 'pulsing experimental beats, soulful vocals and crisp production', the little ripples of intrigue are undoubtedly soon to turn into massive waves of attention with the quality that this act has already delivered.
Who can go wrong with a mashup of NSYNC's 'Girlfriend' (don't pretend you don't know it) and JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE's (oh you definitely know this) 'Señorita' ? Well, HOODLEM certainly haven't.

Apart from their reworking of '00s pop, HOODLEM shows that they're pretty darn good with producing an original or two also, with their latest tune 'IGOTU' being a sweet little number of smooth-sailing, bluesy vocals and simmering synths. These kids know how to keep it effortlessly cool and it may be early days, but I swear I'm in love.
