Live Review: LISTEN: Branko 'Broken' ft. JSTJR

Hot off the heels of his BBC Radio 1 residency, the Portuguese heavy-weight bass producer BRANKO is gearing up for the release of his much anticipated 'Control' EP. He's so excited, in fact, that he threw the internet a free download! Oooh yeah.

With a sound that stays rooted in modern bass music, yet skims the globe in an incredible blend of world music flavours, BRANKO's sound is masterfully versatile, yet strikingly original at the same damn time.

Cue this producer's latest track. Straight off the presses from his upcoming EP, the single 'Broken' contains a collaborative effort from the US producer JSTJR. Forming a bridge between reggaeton, dancehall rhythms and South American flavours, this dance-floor filler is a certified club banger, ready for play in dark basement clubs, corner bodegas and court-side block parties the world over.

And what's even more impressive is that BRANKO - being the good guy that he is - he's chucked the whole tune up for free download via his soundcloud! So what are you waiting for? Head over there and get your hands dutty with some of that BRANKO sound!
